Ingredients:

2 lbs ground beef

1 green pepper, diced

1 onion, diced

1 (156ml) can tomato paste

1 (398ml) can tomato sauce

1 (398ml) can diced tomatoes (fire-roasted for extra flavour)

1 (398ml) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed (optional)

2 tbsp chili powder (or to taste)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for added heat)
Instructions:

Cook the Beef & Veggies:

Heat a cast iron pot over the campfire (or use a stove at home or camp).

Brown the ground beef with diced onions, then drain any excess fat.

Stir in the green pepper, tomato paste, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans (if using), chili powder, and red pepper flakes.
